This course looks at:

 

  • What does the Ofsted framework look at and why?

  • What is the difference between a section 5 and 8 frameworks?

​​

  • What is involved in the initial Ofsted phone call?

​​

  • What is the quality of education?

​​

  • What might leaders be asked?

​​

  • What might children be asked?

​​

  • What is a deep dive?

​​

  • How is reading inspected?

What is the course about?

 

 

 

This course will explore the Ofsted framework. What this framework looks at and how leaders, including governors, can prepare for an inspection.

 

Using high quality slides, the course leaders will explore the quality of education in detail to ensure all leaders understand the importance of this area during an inspection

 

Course participants will leave the course having a secure understanding of a deep dive and how this is carried out during an inspection as well as how reading is explored during an inspection.
