Attendance, Welfare & Safeguarding Services

'Working Together to Support Attendance and Safeguarding Excellence'

At Instill Excellence, we understand the growing challenges schools face in supporting attendance, inclusion and pupil wellbeing within an increasingly complex educational landscape. We recognise that attendance difficulties are often linked to wider emotional, social, family, wellbeing or SEND-related barriers and that many pupils require understanding, flexibility and supportive intervention to help them successfully engage with education.

Our approach is caring, child-centred and inclusive, ensuring the voice of the child remains at the heart of attendance planning and intervention. We believe sustainable attendance improvement comes through building positive relationships, working collaboratively with families and identifying barriers at the earliest opportunity rather than relying on enforcement alone.

Our work promotes supportive family engagement, early help approaches and inclusive attendance planning which aligns with the Department for Education’s Working Together to Improve School Attendance guidance and the principles underpinning the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026.

Above all, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, heard, supported and able to access education in a way that recognises their individual needs and experiences.
