Primary Attendance & Inclusion Support

Supporting Children and Families Through Early Intervention, Inclusion and Educational Access

At Instill Excellence, we understand that attendance difficulties within primary settings are often complex and rarely relate to non-compliance alone. Many younger children experience barriers linked to SEND, emotional wellbeing, anxiety, medical needs, family circumstances or difficulties with routines, transitions and school engagement.

Our approach is caring, nurturing and child-centred, recognising that children are often not absent through choice and may require additional support to successfully access education. We work alongside schools and families to understand barriers, strengthen engagement and help children feel safe, supported and able to thrive within their school community.

We believe that improving attendance is about more than being present in school; it is about ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging, is able to access learning and has the support they need to achieve positive outcomes.

Our Approach

We believe sustainable attendance improvement comes through understanding barriers, building trust and working collaboratively with schools, children and families.

Our work aligns with the Department for Education's Working Together to Improve School Attendance guidance and reflects the growing national focus on inclusion, early intervention, pupil wellbeing and educational access.

Through supportive family engagement, child-centred planning and relationship-based practice, we help schools respond to attendance concerns in a way that promotes inclusion, belonging and positive long-term outcomes for children.
